Booking Begins November 1st! We offer four different trips departing from Freeport Marina in Freeport, Texas:
8 Hour Near Shore Trip
We will depart from the dock at first light and will be fishing within 30 miles of the coast. We expect to catch Bull Redfish, Shark, King and Spanish Mackerl, Mangrove Snapper and various other shallow water species.
We will provide all the bait and tackle and we will clean and bag your catch. Cost is $1200 + the cost of fuel for up to six anglers.
12 Hour Deep Water Trip
We will depart the dock at first light and will be fishing up to 100 miles offshore for Trophy Wahoo, Swordfish, Yellow Fin Tuna and various other deep-sea species. We will provide all the bait and tackle and clean and bag your catch. Cost is $2200 + the cost of fuel for up to six anglers.
24 Hour Overnight Tuna Trip
This trip departs at noon, and we will travel to the Texas tuna grounds. We will be from 115 to 150 miles offshore. On our way out we plan to stop and make a series of deep drops in efforts of catching a trophy Swordfish. We will then continue to one of the many deep-water oil platforms or drilling ships. Here we will fish through the night for Black Fin and Yellow Fin Tuna. We will depart from the Tuna Grounds around 4 am and head to the shelf or reefs where we will spend a few hours trolling for Wahoo. We will return to the dock around noon. We will provide all the bait and tackle and we will clean and bag your catch. Cost is $3200 + the cost of fuel for up to 6 anglers.
30-36 Hour Long Range Trip
We will depart from Freeport Marina at 8 am. On our way out to the Texas tuna grounds we will be dropping bait in 200-1500 feet of water in efforts of boating, Grouper, Amberjack, various species of Snapper, Tile Fish and Swordfish. We will then continue to one of the many deep-water oil platforms or drilling ships. Here we will fish through the night for Black Fin and Yellow Fin Tuna. We will depart from the Tuna Grounds around 4 am and head to the shelf or reefs where we will spend a few hours trolling for Wahoo. We will return to the dock between 2 and 5 PM. We will provide all the bait and tackle and we will clean and bag your catch. Cost is $4500 + the cost of fuel for up to 6 anglers.
Open Boat Overnight Tuna Fishing Trip
We realize many people don't have a group of 6 anglers to secure a private charter, so we invite to join us on the first Tuesday and first Saturday of every month for a mixed party Tuna Trip. This trip departs at noon, and we will travel to the Texas tuna grounds. We will be from 115 to 150 miles offshore. On our way out we plan to stop and make a series of deep drops in efforts of catching a trophy Swordfish. We will then continue to one of the many deep-water oil platforms or drilling ships. Here we will fish through the night for Black Fin and Yellow Fin Tuna. We will depart from the Tuna Grounds around 4 am and head to the shelf or reefs where we will spend a few hours trolling for Wahoo. We will return to the dock around noon. We will provide all the bait and tackle and we will clean and bag your catch. Cost is $700 per angler.
What to Bring:
You are more than welcome to bring your own gear including electric reels. A list of hot lures will be sent to you the week prior to your trip. Bring soft-sided coolers with your drinks, sandwiches and snacks. Water will be supplied. Rain gear will be needed according to the weather. Please be mindful of the weather reports. You will need waterproof shoes or boots. Bring adequate sun protection, such as hats, masks, long sleeve shirts and sunscreen. Do not forget to leave a cooler in your vehicle to transport your fish home.
